Kathmandu|| Tata Motors has introduced its Tata Ace EV light commercial vehicle to the Nepalese market in two variants: the CLB and the Flat Bed Variant. This strategic move aims to cater to the needs of young self-employed individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. The Ace EV is designed to transport a variety of business and industrial products efficiently, enhancing the company’s footprint in the commercial vehicle sector.
Anurag Mehrotra, the International Business Head of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Division, highlighted the vehicle’s potential during the announcement. He emphasized that the Tata Ace EV is an excellent choice for entrepreneurs and business owners looking for a reliable transport solution. Complementing his views, Sipradi CEO Rajanbabu Shrestha expressed his enthusiasm for introducing the CLB and Flat Bed variants to the market. He reiterated the company’s commitment to developing an ecosystem around the Tata Ace, ensuring comprehensive support and service for their customers.
Following the success of the Tata Ace EV launched in September 2023, Tata Motors has expanded its service network to key locations including Pokhara, Itahari, Narayanghat, and Butwal, both within and outside the Kathmandu Valley. The pricing for these new variants is set competitively, with the container variant priced at Rs. 22 lakh 99 thousand, the CLB model at Rs. 22 lakh 79 thousand, and the flat bed variant at Rs. 21 lakh 99 thousand. This pricing strategy underscores Tata Motors’ commitment to providing cost-effective and efficient commercial vehicles to the Nepalese market.
