Kathmandu || SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda vehicles in Nepal, has partnered with Nabil Bank to offer financing for Omoda electric vehicles. Under this agreement, Nabil Bank will provide up to 80% financing for customers, making it easier to purchase Omoda EVs. Customers can access loans with a fixed interest rate of 9.99% for 5 years or 10.49% for 7 years through all Nabil Bank branches and Omoda’s dealer network across Nepal.

The financing facility is available at Omoda showrooms in cities including Bhaktapur, Itahari, Birtamode, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Bardibas, Birgunj, Narayanghat, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dang, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara. With only a 20% down payment, customers can own an Omoda electric vehicle, such as the Omoda E5, which is priced at Rs 61.99 lakh for the single-tone and Rs 62.49 lakh for the dual-tone variant. The Omoda E5 features a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, a 99 kW motor, and a range of 430 km.

The collaboration, signed on May 29, aims to provide accessible and easy financing options for Omoda EV buyers. The loans will comply with Nepal Rastra Bank’s directives, and the interest rates may change according to Nabil Bank’s policies. Omoda E5, launched last February, is marketed as a top choice for Nepalese EV buyers, offering a range of 430 km, 180 mm ground clearance, and a Level 2.5 ADAS system.
