Kathmandu || The French automaker Citroen has introduced an updated variant of its electric C3, produced in India, to the Nepali market. Shangrila Motors, the official distributor for Citroen in Nepal, has launched this new variant, adding to the existing models with enhanced features and modern design.
The updated Citroen eC3 now comes with two variants: Fill and Live, with the new Sign variant adding extra features like electrically adjustable ORVM, rear parking camera, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, and a rear defogger and wiper. The Sign variant also boasts a leather-wrapped steering wheel, making it a more premium offering. This EV is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack paired with a 42 kW electric motor, providing a claimed range of up to 320 kilometers on a full charge.
Shangrila Motors has announced that sales for the new eC3 Sign variant will begin next Friday in Nepal. The Citroen eC3, based on the design language of the Citroen C3 but fully electric, will be available for purchase and test drives across Nepal through official showrooms. With advanced features such as an e-toggle automatic drive, regenerative braking, and quick charging capabilities, the eC3 aims to offer an efficient and modern driving experience for eco-conscious consumers.
