“BYD Unveils Budget-Friendly Dolphin EV Model, Making Electric Mobility More Accessible’’

BVD Dolphin’s Honor Edition has been launched in China. In this new edition, the company has also added a cheaper variant of 32 kWh battery pack. It is claimed that the variant, which costs $13,865, will give a range of 302 kilometers on a single charge. The price of the entry level variant has been reduced by 4.7 percent compared to earlier, the company said.

The remaining three variants are equipped with a 45 kWh blade battery. Three variants have a 70 KW motor, while the most expensive night variant has a 130 KW motor. The price of the remaining three variants has been fixed at 15 thousand 670, 16 thousand 650 and 18 thousand 30 dollars respectively. The company has claimed that this variant will give a range of 401 to 420 km.

The interior of the car features a 12.8-inch floating rotavable screen, a small 5-inch LCD instrument cluster, front ventilated seats, a 50-watt wireless charging pad, and a new Type C charging port. No changes have been made in the mechanical side of the car.
